LOS ANGELES (August 1, 2023) — Grace Yoo’s campaign for Los Angeles City Council District 10 is proud to announce that Yoo has outraised all other candidates in the race with an impressive $125,986 reported in the first finance period ending June 30th, marking a robust start to her candidacy.  

This remarkable early fundraising total has come from the contributions of over 450 donors, showcasing an outpouring of grassroots support that spans the city. 

“Our city deserves an honest councilperson who will fight for the needs of the district and its residents, and Grace is ready to be that champion,” said campaign spokesperson Samantha Stevens.  “The broad spectrum of donors and the strength of the financial support we’ve received underlines the resonating message of Grace’s campaign and the willingness to invest in her vision for an inclusive, effective, and forward-thinking city council.”

Yoo’s campaign prioritizes accessibility, accountability, and action. These principles have clearly resonated with a broad base of supporters, who see in Yoo a representative who listens, understands, and is prepared to act on their behalf.

According to L.A. City Ethics, the two closest candidates trailing Yoo are appointed Councilwoman Heather Hutt who reported raising $123,995 and Assemblymember Reggie Jones-Sawyer with $119,334.

The funds along with future efforts will be directed towards amplifying Yoo’s message across the district, engaging with voters, and ensuring a comprehensive campaign operation that leaves no stone unturned.
